Collection: The Chosen Season 6 Study Guides

The Chosen Season 6 Study Guides

Hi there, Pastor Hal here with a quick update regarding our study guides. Pastor Todd, Pastor Joe and I collaboratively write study guides on various Christian themes and topics for groups, families and individuals to use on their faith journey. One type of study guides we write are customized to complement the Sunday morning sermons preached here at Cornerstone Family Church each week. They are a great way to go deeper on the topic of that week’s message.

We also write specialized study guides for discipleship such as “Living the 5,” and for various Bible themed productions that come out from time to time. We’ve really enjoyed putting together guides for The Chosen series. While these productions are founded on stories from the Bible, there are times when episodes have more creative writing than Scriptural content. When an episode is like that, we focus more on the themes being portrayed within the episode and then bring biblical teaching that addresses the issues the characters in the episode are facing.

The study guides “teach” users more through the use of creative questions than straight lectures and are very appealing because they foster engagement and don’t just dispense information. The guides are great to use in a group setting and on a personal level as well. We try to maintain a balance between group discussion questions and personal evaluation that can help individuals deepen their relationship with God. We hope you enjoy the study guides that are downloadable from our website and hope they enrich your faith! - In Christ, Pastor Hal.

The Chosen Season 6 Is Coming: What To Expect

Faith-Centered The Chosen Season 6: Prepare for the Premiere

The sixth season of The Chosen is scheduled to premiere on November 15, 2026 exclusively on Prime Video. For viewers drawn to the previous seasons' faith-centered storytelling, the release will air three episodes expected on opening day, followed by weekly episodes through December 6. In preparation for these episodes, review scripture to witness the experiences and spiritual growth of Christ's disciples. Each episode supports biblical fellowship discussion on humility, courage, faith, and church community. The Chosen series can help familiar passages feel personal while Scripture provides the foundation for Christian belief about Jesus and His ministry.

Weekly Releases Follow

After the premiere release on November 15, one episode is scheduled each Sunday through early December. The Chosen Season 6 episode schedule is:

1st weekly episode: November 22, 2026
2nd weekly episode: November 29, 2026
3rd weekly episode: December 6, 2026

This airing format provides options of watching the first three episodes together, or using each episode for weekly prayer, bible reading, and church group study. Jonathan Roumie returns in season 6 to portray Jesus. Admirers of his depiction of the role in earlier seasons will appreciate the consistency and care in which he delivers this portrayal in season 6. Season 6 themes may lead to discussions about private faith and public witness, about the cost of following Jesus and the meaning of living a Christ-centered life.

The Chosen Season 6 Finale

The finale of Season 6 will be released in Spring 2027. Run times, and plot summaries will be announced from official releases by the theatrical studio. While The Chosen dramatization adds imagined dialogue and fuller character stories, the faith-centered approach keeps the drama meaningful for us and points us to scripture as the final authority.

In this season 6 finale, we will be taken along through Christ's trial and crucifixion, allowing us to reflect together upon our Savior's sacrifice. Season 6 is the most anticipated event of the entire series due to its depiction of Christ's life in its most intense and emotional period. This is when our Savior is preparing to become the sacrifice for the sins of the world. The events leading up to his crucifixion are brutal reminders of what Jesus endured for our sake and how they can bring us closer to Him. The official Prime Video website and listings will offer the most reliable information about season 6 including: viewing times, subtitles, accessibility features, and supported devices.
